People suffering various conditions including anxiety wrote for 15 minutes over three days of the week. It took only one month for the benefits to be felt by the participants. The mental health and well-being of those that took part in the study continued to improve over a 12 week period of journaling.

The mind probably filled with thoughts of “what if I fail”? or maybe you due for an appraisal at work. Worrying about what hasn’t happened puts the body in undue stress. The truth is that quite often what we thought was going to happen, doesn’t happen.
