I am a huge fan of journaling. Honestly, I don’t do it every day, typically about 3 times a week. I use it to recall the things that I am thankful for along with quieting my thinking mind. People suffering various conditions including anxiety wrote for 15 minutes over three days of the week. It took only one month for the benefits to be felt by the participants. The mental health and well-being of those that took part in the study continued to improve over a 12 week period of journaling.
I have seen many clients suffering from anxiety.

As a hypnotherapist, I have seen many clients suffering from anxiety. There are many different reasons as each client is individual to how a problem will show itself in the body and mind. Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool that can help relieve anxiety and stress. Hypnosis or trance is a state of consciousness in which the mind is open to suggestion, a client will be guided into a relaxed state. Whilst in the state of relaxation the therapist is able to speak to the clients subconscious mind.
Hypnosis for Anxiety and Stress Relief

People who suffer from anxiety or stress will often have negative thoughts going around in their minds. There could be exams that you maybe worried that won’t pass. The mind probably filled with thoughts of “what if I fail”? or maybe you due for an appraisal at work. Worrying about what hasn’t happened puts the body in undue stress. The truth is that quite often what we thought was going to happen, doesn’t happen.
Hypnosis can help you eliminate those negative thoughts. You feel less anxious about what may or may not happen in the future. Sweating and rapid heart rate that are associated with anxiety and stress are reduced. You’ll learn to control these symptoms through hypnosis.
